From the founder
I didn’t set out to build a pet care company.
I came from an industry obsessed with what could go wrong. I spent more than a decade in corporate IT and software testing, where preventing failure was the job. You tested the system, documented the process, planned for the unexpected, and made damn sure one person wasn’t the only thing standing between “working” and “not working.”
Then I found myself in pet care, an industry where the consequences of something going wrong were far more personal.
Someone’s dog. Someone’s home. Someone’s house key. And often, the entire plan depended on one person showing up.
That never made sense to me.
So I built Walks Wiggles & Wags the way I knew how: with systems, standards, oversight, trained employees, documented care, and real backup when life inevitably happens.
Because when someone hands us a key to their home and trusts us with a member of their family, “I love dogs” was never going to be enough of a system for me.
I built the company I’d want on the other side of my own front door.

We regularly welcome new members throughout Morris and Somerset Counties. Availability depends on your location, preferred visit times, and our current routes. The best way to find out is to complete our New Client Form, and we'll let you know if we're a good fit.

Every membership includes guaranteed backup coverage from a trained teammate who has already met your dog and reviewed their care plan. You'll be notified, and the visit happens as scheduled. In eight years, we've never missed one.

Your dog is cared for by a small, consistent team — usually one primary walker with one or two familiar backups. That's deliberate. A solo walker is a single point of failure. A small team is how the schedule survives real life.

Every visit is GPS-verified and timestamped, and you'll get a photo and update after each one. You'll never have to wonder who came, how long they stayed, and what happened during the visit.

Employees. W-2, background-checked, trained to our written standards, and covered by our insurance. We don't use gig contractors, because accountability can't be outsourced.

Yes, when our schedule allows. Our primary focus is serving recurring members, so occasional visits are very limited and don't include the same member benefits or scheduling priority.

Dogs are our primary focus, but we also care for cats and other household pets when they're part of an existing client relationship. If you have questions about your specific pets, just ask—we're happy to talk through your needs.
